Festivals...
Despite the weather, some optimistics would try and fool the British public that the Summer is here. And with another summer, comes another Feast of Festivals. You've chosen the Festival for you, and you've ordered your tickets of that 'established' internet website. Now you're just waiting for them to arrive. Yes, the customer services over in India have repeatidly told you "Your tickets are fine. They will be with you in 4 to 6 weeks," we've heard it many times. But you still worry, what if all the bad press THAT site got is real? And those lucky enough to of got there tickets already...just don't go losing them, otherwise it will be us with the last laugh. Also you will find that your Festival has some artist's on you that you really like, and artist's on at other festivals that you really want to see. I mean I paid 160 Great Britsh Pounds for my tickets, to only realise the other day I've bought them to see Radiohead and I'm not really arsed about the rest of the line up. Despite the eye candyness, Sugababes and Girls Aloud are oplaying at V??? But it's time to stick with it. Time to get excited. Whether you’re a Festival Whore or Festival Virgin (no pun intended), August isn't too far around the corner and Summer 06 will be "THE ONE TO REMEMBER." (That's if Rooney doesn't break another toe, and Cole isn't substituted at every half time, but enough of the football) So it's time to start thinking about the Festival Blinks. I'll be slumming it and camping for two days at V Festival @ Weston Park, Staffordshire. So which Festival's on which day's will you be attending? Which ever Festival it is that you go to, most importantly have fun, but be safe. moirob |

Details for tomorrow's blinks! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - THE CHANDOS Pub - Trafalgar Square Katja, Slytherin Head Girl and Chintzy will be upstairs early-on getting drunk in the afternoon. Chintzy shall remain sober and keep an eye on the other two.

Blinks 21st June
Mainly because the comments thread below has got out of control, but also because Purple asked for directions, I thought I'd do a brand new post about next Wednesday's blinks. I know - I'm a radical. Anyway - the plan is to meet at the Chandos pub from 5pm. For those who don't know where this is, here is a handy link - Clicky. SHG, Chintz and I are likely to be there early doors and will try to grab as much seating space as we can upstairs. Hope to see lots of you there x |

Who fancies meeting up on the evening of Wed 21st June to join Chintzy, Slytherinheadgirl and I for some drinky-poos? I reckon we'll be in a pub in either Waterloo, London Bridge or somewhere nearby. You'd be a fool not to.

London Loves on Saturday! Meet loser blogger(s) beforehand!
Hello people. You all know about this already, but it's my club night, the ineffable London Loves, this Saturday night. Come along, it'll be fun and stuff. If anyone fancies a pre-London Loves pint or three, I plan to be supping ale in the Nellie Dean pub- literally two doors down from the Push Bar, our venue, and also 'round the corner from a really rubbish lesbian bar, if you're interested - from 7pm if anyone fancies joining me. I've got stupid ginger hair and I'll probably be wearing a crap hat of some description. Mine's a pint of the black stuff. Don't be stupid, James. You can't drink a pint of bovril. |

As the 20six platform apocalyse nears do any of the "early adopters" fancy a little London blinkette for old times sake? No date or venue in mind yet I'll just throw it open to the rabble for suggestions. I am sure with her supreme organising skills Pog will take us all in hand. It goes without saying that most people wil be going to Chintzy's drinks as well. We're alcoholic godammit. |
